Audit of the Napoleonic collection

An extensive audit of the whole Napoleonic collection has been in progress over the past weeks.

Today the count is in, 2,200 combat forces and a total of 2,319 miniatures including tabletop markers and draft teams.

the French army all 704 of them!

The French top the list at 704, Sweden the bottom at 82.  See the full details on the new Napoleonic Collection page. (click it)

Now I must continue the photography of the detail for the units in the collection.

I have long admired your Napoleonic armies, battles and campaigns, Murdock. I have a query, though. Whatever happened to that 'Hundred days' campaign? Was the check at Ath the end of Napoleon's bid to defeat the Anglo-Prussian alliance? Just curious...

Ion

Thank you Ion!

The 100 days went into a hiatus due to a lead player becoming ill.

Sadly I have not yet heard back from him and suspect that a hospital stay has been extended or moved to hospice or beyond.

At first the players were okay with the delay, then once we realized the nature of the situation was not going to change we decided to suspend action at that point.

Perhaps we'll pick up the action in the coming year, or re-set with a new crew of players and an new set of opportunities for the international tables to once again beat out the pas de marche for Bonaparte!

I love a grand review; who doesn't?!
That's a great photo David, as are those at the link.

Thank you James,

It was an interesting exercise in staging the minis, outside of the normal tabletop environment.

Certainly the French forces alone could cover my 4x6 tabletop, something I used to say could be done, and now I have proof.
