field at the end of the battle |
Once again Stagonia won the day.
Upon learning of the victory, the Stagonian general MrPezz said,"I'm happy to go pillage the town now. We will staple proclamations of victory to the refugees streaming towards the capital"
This concludes the two game tests that I did to determine the viability of the setup and what changes we may need in coming matches.
Thanks again to David for today commanding Stagonia to a stunning victory.
Plans are for games to come on the tabletop over the weekend of April 17 - 18 -19, 2020.
I am thinking of an Alpian Wars on Friday the 17th, starting at 7 pm PDT (same as Los Angeles).
Then an English Civil War battle, something from the war in the west in 1643 (with the lobsters!) on Saturday the 18th.
Then on Saturday night possibly a board-game, something beer & pretzels like Bobby Lee (ACW)?
- this one is not yet set up and I am open to suggestions -
Finally Sunday I'd like to put together a good Napoleonic match-up, using SHAKO II with maybe some French & Italians vs Russians and Austrians?
- this one is again not set and I am open to suggestions -
The coming games on the 17 - 18 - 19 April are going to be on my big table 4' x 6' so the issues of the smaller table will be gone. I am also planning on using at least two computer systems with at least one, if not all three, of my sons taking part as troops movers so that the action keeps flowing quickly.
Put in the comments here if you have any suggestions or are keen to take part - you will not need any software download, only a basic webcam and a mike (or built in new webcam with mike) to take part as a player.

Thanks for hosting the game! I did benefit from a hideous number of good cards in a row for the Stagonians.
