The Austrians were exercised for the first time in a game action and that game was a Garden Wars.
I had two of my sons engaged in the project at one point and the game came off without a hitch.
Much more detail to come in the next posting as the heat from the day and all the activity has made me ready to rest.

Looking forward to the AAR. I also enjoy miniatures games played outside on my deck.
You have far too much good weather out there in Lotus Land!
Just lost the last of my snow the other day...
Mike the sunshine makes for some fantastic pictures and the panorama of the troops off in the distance give a different feel for the action. Totally different from the tabletop.
Jim: and a bi-labial fricative to you too. Smiles all round I am certain that the summer blast furnace will start soon east of the lake-head.
If I recall my linguistics class, a bilabial fricative, rendered phonetically is more or less as follows:
pphhhtt!
HA! In any case, it is all good, the Canucks can use the nice weather when they are on the links by wednesday. The blast furnace started up with a roar today in fact, 27 degrees! One expects 12 degrees, rain and a wind from the Labrador Sea...
