Been away from the tabletop for some time now, looking at gathering back up some of my games materials and putting in some tabletop games.
While waiting I have been exploring the world of 6mm Napoleonic and Horse & Musket eras and rules sets for those games.
So far I have found at least 6 free sets and some reviews of the Polemos system.
Question for readers, have any of you used any good systems that you would recommend?

I've got a copy of "Polemos GNW" if you'd like to borrow it to get a better idea of its mechanisms . . . I don't think that they change much from period to period (although period specific stuff does).
I also have a copy of "Volley and Bayonet", which I know that some use with 6mm if you want to borrow it (since it is Nappy-oriented).
Essentially any element-based rules system can be used with 6mm. And from what I've read, folks often use 15mm-sized bases with a lot of 6mm figures on them.
I also have a few 6mm samples from Baccus somewhere (not sure where) . . . nice figures, but much too small for me to deal with . . . although easy to paint as I understand.

Excellent Jeff,
Yes I would love to examine their system to see what it is all about!
I have long enjoyed Napoleon's Battles and may use it for the process as well, however I am opening up to all possibilities now.
Perhaps I can examine them when we meet for the game later this month?
