The contest betwixt Louis-Philippe of St. Maurice and Frankzonia is about ready to start.
See the attached map of the expected battlefield, essentially dominated by light woods...

as can be seen from this satellite image of the area.

All that remains now are the battle plans of the contestants.
The forces are:
St. Maurice:
Cavalry Brigade of Lancers and Hussars
Detached Cavalry force of Gendarmes
Infantry Brigade of two regiments with Battalions each and a light artillery battery with an attached "Zombie" militia unit of 2 Battalions for a total of 6 Battalions of foot.
Frankzonia:
Cavalry brigade of Hussars and attached Cuirass
Infantry of 4 Battalions of line, 1 Battalion of Jagers and a Battalion of Militia, along with an impressive array of command characters!
I expect to see the battle plans in the next day or so then the troops take to the tabletop this weekend!

Have you invited Jerry to come and play (or observe) it?
If not, it might be a good idea.

Expecting to see the 'Zombie militiamen' screaming and bittering ;-)

This should be interesting, with the "zombie" and all.
Yes and I am planning on actually using some of my 'zombies' in the troop formations to remind us of the troops 'status'!
