Garden Wars rematch

Round one of a rematch of the French and Russian Corps engagement has been done.

Alex liked it so much that he wanted to finish the match, even though the French were leading 4-0 in battalion/squadron kills and the ones that were killed or chased away were the Russian grenadier foo and horse units.

So I can only report a Tactical French lead from the engagement so far and leave you with the little detail of the abandoned Russian Grenadier artillery ... well within range of the French Dragoons or even a horse gun crew to rush in and bring the battery into action!

What scale are your figures? 40mm PA?

Hello Bill,

I use a hodgepodge of 25/28mm figures. Most are Prince August. There are some Dixon, Minifigs and Foundry.

Thanks. They look great in the grass. I'm gonna have to try my 54mm figures out in the back yard with the kids. Good idea on trimming the yard in a particular way.

The 28mm figures look fine in the grass. I'll have to try this with my 54mm figures in the backyart. I like the way you left the 'woods' grass longer.

Yes William we did cut the grass to leave the 'woods' longer so that there would be no argument about a unit in woods or not.

Your 54mm's will look fabulous in short grass and by having a few 'potted' plants in your woods sections you will have a great backdrop for the action!
