Cromwell 1970 Movie

Alec Guiness and Richard Harris in CROMWELL
Some inspirational video viewing - for when the paintbrush needs guidance.

CROMWELL 1970

Been at the paint table, finished officers and a score of artillerymen.
Now on to two more pike and shotte and a double-dozen shotte for two commanded shotte units.

Great film! One of my favourite movie cavalry charges. If only I could get such surprise on the tabletop!

I recall seeing that movie, yonks ago. Did you know that King Charles' army outnumbered Cromwell's by two to one at Naseby? Nor did I.
For the rest I don't recall much of the movie at all, except for Charles's 'trial'.
