Anyone wanting to come to an understanding of this element of warrior society would do well to see this film.

    Yes, definitely one of my favourite films as well. We're off to vacation near Sarlat this spring (where much of The Duellists was filmed) and can't wait to enjoy some of that remarkable countryside!
